On April 20, 1976, 15 Radiant women brought finer womanhood to the campus of California State University, Los Angeles when they chartered Rho Eta chapter. For the past 42 years, the Rho Eta chapter has been making a positive impact on the campus by providing class, academic excellence, and community spirit. We work to support the personal and professional growth of African-American women on campus. From 1976 to 2019, that Radiant light has shined brightly, and will continue to do so for years to come.
The Rho Eta hosts and participates in annual programs at California State University, Los Angeles. The chapter hosts Celebration of Life, which has been in effect since 2005, every year as a part of Zeta Week to collect donations and assemble baskets to donate to Los Angeles Stork's Nest. Rho Eta also collaborates with the Center for Student Involvement and the Cross Cultural Centers to promote diversity and inclusion on campus.
